Roman Parkhomenko is a composer.
Since 2020 - co-founder and coordinator of the reMusik.org - OpenCalls. He is also the coordinator of the Composition Course reMusik.org (St. Petersburg).
He is the winner of many national and international composer competitions, including the Grand Prix of the Open Space competition (Russia) and Novalis Competition (Croatia).
His music has been performed in cities of Russia, Italy, Austria, Switzerland, Spain, USA, Cyprus, Lithuania, Israel and Greece at such international festivals as Festival Mixtur (Spain), reMusik.org (Russia, 2020, 2021), CEME 2020 (Israel), Biomechanics Multimedia Festival (Russia), Felicja Blumental Festival (Israel), Europe-Asia (Russia), etc.

Roman Parkhomenko is a composer of the electroacoustic science opera DIVE, which premiered at the New Opera Moscow Theater (2021).
Roman Parkhomenko is an active participant in composing academies, workshops, seminars and residencies in Russia, France, Italy, Croatia, Netherlands, Switzerland, Spain, USA, Cyprus, Lithuania, Israel and Greece.
He is a invited resident of the Brush Creek Foundation For the Arts (USA) and Playa Residency (USA).
